Birth of a Beauty Kdrama Rave

This is an ongoing kdrama  and is currently in my list of top favorite ongoing kdramas (I'm watching 3 right now...but they're all pretty great)

At first when I saw the title picture and heard the name of the drama I thought "Wow this is going to be stupid and shallow" but boy was I wrong. If you have seen 200 pound beauty, it is kind of similar in that there is a fat girl who gets full body plastic surgery because of how she is treated. However this drama is a million times funnier and actually has lessons to teach, but most importantly you watch this fat-turned-beautiful-girl get revenge on her cheating husband. Right now at the moment I am typing this, there have been 8 episodes so far and I am crazy excited for upcoming episodes. This review may seem short and exaggerated, but I strongly encourage you guys out there to watch it. At least the whole first episode , because like most dramas skipping the first episode will cause complete confusion on what is going on.

Anyways, WATCH IT! The main male lead from Cunning Single Woman is in this drama and I love him and all the characters ( all the good characters that is).

Hope you guys can relate or try this drama out for a szie.
See you the next time, I have a crazy raving kdrama session. (next it will be on Pinnochio)
Bye!

Must Read Webtoons List

Are you trying to find some new webtoons? Below I have created a list of some of my three favorite webtoons. My tastes range, so when it comes to order, I ended up going with the "girliest" webtoon first to the "manliest"/"teenage boy" webtoon.
#1: Pinnochio 피노키오 (Korean) by Maru
This is a super cute webtoon and when you read it, you will  feel like you're watching a kdrama. It includes a lot of comedy, but also lots of drama. I even ended up crying for some of this, this is the first time a comic/manga/manhwa ever made me tear up and I wasn't just being crazy and emotional.
I'm not giving any spoilers, but it;s basically about a ghost who can only be seen by a human girl, and spoiler alert, there are lots of plot twists (so prepare yourself!).

#2: The Gamer 더 게이머 (Korean) bu Sun Yang Mong
At first I avoided reading this because it seemed  too cliche and male targeted, but once I started I couldn't stop reading. Literally I remember pulling an all-nighter so I could read nonstop.
I don't want to gibe too much away, so I'm just going to tell you that the story is about a gaming addict who one day wakes up and develops a new ability where he sees the world as a game and he is the main character.

#3: Abillity by Lee Gwang Su and Song Jaeho
If you love the manhwa Noblesse, you're in for some luck because Ability is written by the same people and has the same feel as Noblesse as well as The Gamer because the characters must go against enemies that only fet stronger while they get stronger.
Also if you're interested in dramatic pictures like the one below featuring bread...

This post was just to name a few, I also posted another Webtoon Reccomendation Reading list a while ago that includes, Noblesse, Girls of the Wild, and

Modern Farmer

Everyone go watch this drama now. Why?
1. It's absolutely HILARIOUS!!!
2. It's not your typical predictable kdrama (at least so far, and I'm hoping that won't change)
3. Because it's hilarious it will help you feel less depressed on a sad day
4. Hot guys alert!
5. Amazing actors and actresses.

I'm loving the band members so far. Lee Hongki, who is the main character is most memorable for his role as Jeremy from You're Beautiful. What I don't understand is how he doesn't see, to age at all. Literally, he still looks like a young little munchkin of happiness. Anyways I love his character in Modern Farmer because so far he is just too funny and has a cute voice when he sings. The only thing I don't like is when he is with that other famous girl with blonde hair. They're both cute, but I find it weird that they have matching hair, or maybe that's also cute...I haven't made up my mind about that yet.

I can already predict the love triangle between Minki, Yoonhee and Minwoo  from Roomate. I love that show, but barely have any time to watch it.
The other couples are also ridiculously finny to watch right now. I don't know which one I love the most. We all know that they're going to end up together, just laughing while it happens though.
Ah yes, romance
let me just, HA

School 2013

It's almost the end of 2013 itself so I thought I would blog about School 2013.
I didn't really find all the teachers' drama interesting, just the bromance between the two characters.

The Heirs

Favorite character: Choi Young Do played by Woo Bin
You just gotta love the second lead and the mean character.

Lee Min ho will forever rule the kdrama land. He plays Kim Tan
love his brother too, they seriously need to start loving each other and bromancing

And who could forget Park Shin Hye playing Cha Eun Sang, when I saw her in Stairway to Heaven, I couldn't believe how her face never seemed to age.

Also Yoo Rachel, I had no idea she was the girl in To the beautiful you, she looks really different without bangs.

I love this drama so far. There are many times where I cringe at the cheesiness, but overall i think you guys should definitely watch this if you aren't already.

The Moon Embraces the Sun

it's another k-drama starting day, and i finally start watching the moon embraces the sun.
the first thing you will notice is that a lot of the people in May Queen are also from this drama and the grean ranger from rooftop prince and evil princess also from rooftop prince as a child.
i am also freaking out because of dream high's song sam dong being the crown prince!!!
haha these scenes <3
